Mel began her career as a research graduate at NOP working in media research on newspaper, radio and TV. A move to a specialist marketing consultancy in 1997 provided the opportunity to manage projects for a wide variety of blue chip companies in new product development - forecasting new product sales and marketing mix optimization for companies as diverse as L'Oreal and Mars.

Since then, Mel has worked in both qualitative and quantitative roles, specialising in online research projects covering service, media and entertainment industries on topics such as customer satisfaction, staff experience improvement and new product evaluation.

Mel started working with Insight Exchange in 2009 on the SEI program for Audi, and has since worked with other clients such as Royal Mail and AQA, and occasionally can be found on the Big Sofa!
