
Daniel Wain is a highly experienced learning & development consultant, trainer, coach, writer and public speaker, with particular expertise in the areas of client-facing, business development, relationship and leadership skills. Previously Worldwide Director of Learning & Development (L&D) at Research International, he was responsible for developing and driving the company’s L&D strategy across its worldwide network. In addition, he personally trained more than 1000 employees, from graduate trainee to board director, across the world, including the US, Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific and most of Europe. Prior to this, he spent over a decade as a market researcher then business developer, focusing primarily upon the areas of customer relationships, service measurement and mystery customer research.
A full member of the Market Research Society (MRS), Daniel also sits on the MRS Professional Development Advisory Board and leads a range of MRS courses. Having spoken at many industry conferences over the years, he won the award for Best Presented Paper at the 2006 MRS Conference and, in 2008, chaired the first ever ‘main stage’ MRS Conference session devoted to people development, as well as coaching the winner of that year’s Best Presented Paper award.
